MEDIA INVITE - FIFTH ARMY INTERNATIONAL SCOUT MASTERS COMPETITION 2019

1.       The fifth Army International Scout Masters Competition 2019, part of International Army Games will be held in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan as per the following schedule :-

2.       The five stages of competition will test the marksmanship, navigation skills, endurance and teamwork amongst the teams under an international panel of judges, experts & arbiters. To give a broad overview of various activities planned during current Army International Scout Masters Competition & to unveil the Rolling Trophy of the Competition a ‘Curtain Raiser’ function will be organised at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi on 05 Jul 2019. The ‘Curtain Raiser’ will be attended by representatives of all eight participating countries & International Organizing Committee (IOC), number of Defence Attaches and dignitaries.

3.       For the main events as mentioned at serial 1 (c) to 1 (g) a maximum of 12 media houses can be accommodated on a particular day to cover various events of the Scout Masters Competition at Jaisalmer. To select the media houses daywise, a draw of lots for the media houses will be held immediately post the ‘Curtain Raiser’ event at Manekshaw Centre on 05 Jul 2019.

4.       All media houses willing to cover the event at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan may please mail their willingness to gso1media@gmail.com & proarmy@gmail.com by 02 Jul 2019. Only those media house which express their willingness will be considered during the draw of lots.

5.       A separate media invite for the ‘Curtain Raiser’ event will be extended a week prior to the event.
