MEDIA INVITE-THE ULTIMATE RUN HONOURING OUR NEXT OF KIN AND DISABLED SOLDIERS

1.         To honour Next of Kins and Disabled Soldiers, 'The Ultimate' is being organized involving 1.2 km Run and walk for Next of Kins, wheel chair bound disabled soldiers assisted by Army Public School students and ASHA school children. The event will also include five and 10 km run for all serving and retired armed forces personnel and their families. The details of the events are as under :-

            (a)       Date & Time     :           19 Oct 2019 (Saturday) 0530hr.

            (b)       Venue                :           Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi.

2.         Lt Gen MM Naravane, Vice Chief of the Army Staff will flag off the five and 10 km run at 0600hr and COAS Gen Bipin Rawat will flag off Next of Kins, Battle Casualties and disabled soldiers for 1.2 km run at 0630hr.

3.         You are requested to reach the venue by 0530hr (via Gate Number 1A). Live telecast is permitted.
