Nk Udai Veer Singh Yadav was enrolled in the Corps of Signals in 1988. He met with a serious accident in Sep 1997 which resulted in amputation of both his legs above the knee. After being boarded out from service in 1999, he focused on enhancing his educational qualifications. He has the distinction of completing three postgraduate degrees, MA History in 2002, MCA in 2009 and MBA Banking and Finance in 2012. He was appointed as a Manager in State Bank of India, Jaipur in Jul 2017. He was appreciated as ‘A Successful Amputee’ in the India Book of Records in Aug 2019. His perseverance and indomitable spirit in spite of the odds being against him, serve as a source of great inspiration for all of us.
