The AEC Training College & Centre conducts a variety of courses for personnel of Army, Navy, Air Force, Para Military Forces and Friendly Foreign Countries in domains of Instructional Methodology, Map Craft, Martial Music, Foreign Languages, Regional Languages, Information Technology and English. FACULTY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
Dept of HRD
Dept of HRD conducts Unit Education Instructor course for personnel of all Arms and Services, Advance Military Training of AEC recruits instructor and clerks and Personality Development Training for Service Entry Aspirants.
Dept of Map Craft & Land Navigation
The responsibility of imparting training in Map Reading to the Indian soldiers has been vested with the Army Educational Corps. The department of Map Craft was established at AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi in 1955.
The department is equipped with a state of art Sand Model Room, GIS Lab and other modern infrastructure.

FACULTY OF EDUCATION
Dept of Library & Info Science
The AEC Training College and Centre Library was established in 1939 since then it has been functioning as a nodal agency for dissemination of information related to each and every field and is acting in every manner to satisfy its readers.
This department conducts Bachelor of Library and Info Science, Certificate in Library and Info Science under the aegis of Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
Dept of Education
This department was established in 1961. It is responsible for the conduct of B.Ed course under the aegis of Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
Dept of Computer & IT
The Department of Computer and IT came into existence in 1992 with state of art IT training infrastructure.
The department conducts IT course for AEC personnel and personnel from minor corps. The department also conducts 4 weeks IT cadre for personnel of Afghan National Army.
FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES
This faculty is responsible for imparting training in foreign languages viz Chinese, Tibetan, Dzongkha (Bhutanese), Sinhala, Burmese, Pushto, Persian, Arabic, Russian to personnel from AEC as well as from other Arms and Services.
The faculty is equipped with Modern Computer Aided Language Learning Labs (CALL Labs) with associated software’s to assist in making the Language Learning process much more effective and efficient.
FACULTY OF ENGLISH
The faculty of English was established in 1964. The department conducts Communication Skills Course for candidates selected for SCO and PC (SL) commission and Certificate of Teaching English with appropriate certification from the Barkatullah University, Bhopal.
It is functioning as nodal centre for training in Communication skills in English for Officers from Friendly Foreign Countries.
FACULTY OF MILITARY TRAINING
The Faculty of Military Training is responsible for the Basic Military Training of the New Entrants (NEs) who join the AEC Training College & Centre as recruits to become Scholar Soldiers.
FACULTY OF MILITARY MUSIC
The Faculty of Military Music was established in Oct 1950 under the patronage of the than Commander-in-Chief General (Later Field Marshal) KM Cariappa, OBE.
Musicians of Military Bands and Pipes and Drums Band of Army, Navy, Air Force, Para Military Forces, State Police and Friendly Foreign Countries are imparted training in Faculty of Military Music.
