Military regiment demands unique physical and psychological strengths on units and individuals. In order to be prepared for these challenges, it is necessary to create a fitness training structure. Sport too makes a vital contribution in the Defence Forces towards fighting spirit, morale, personality development and ultimately, operational effectiveness. It plays an important part in overall Military Life. Adventure Training is another invaluable asset to formal military training which supports values and standards of the Army. It enhances the individual’s ability to withstand the rigors of operations and rapid deployment. The College of Military Engineering places physical training, sports and adventure activities as one of the key focus areas.
