Paramvir Smritika

Lt Gen ML Naidu, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC, VCOAS and Col of the Regt inaugurated Param Vir Smritika at the Centre on 01 Apr 2008. Param Vir Smritika has been redesigned and conceptualised to pay befitting tribute to Regimental war heroes martyred or alive for their outstanding valour, supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.

The Smritika houses the Marble Tombed Central Pre-independence Memorial besides metallic busts of Nk Yadhunath Singh of 1st RAJPUT who was awarded Param Vir Chakra on 06 Sep 1948, Sep (Later Hony Capt) Kamal Ram of 2nd RAJPUT who was awarded Victoria Cross on 26 Jul 1944, Capt (Later Lt Col) Jasram Singh of 16 RAJPUT who was awarded Ashok Chakra on 26 Jan 1970.
