1.    Op Visphotak Mukt Bandargarh.     A huge qty of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) and unexploded Ordnance (UXOs) were lying for over three decades at various cities and ports of our country. For the first time UXO/ERW clearance operation of such magnitude and sensitivity was undertaken by any Army post World War-II in Dec 2020 This operation won accolades from all offices of Civil Administration.

 

 

2.     RFID Tagging.     RFID Tagging of Amn Inventory was implemented on 09 Feb 2022 with first consignment of RFID tagged ammunition, being dispatched.  The RFID Tagging is in conformity with global standards.  The RFID tags will be interpreted and used for asset tracking by ERP solution.  The implementation shall lead to increased efficiency in all technical activities carried out in Amn Depots and reduce inventory carrying costs.
