The Regiment has excelled in the field of sports and adventure activities. It is proud of its achievements in Wrestling, Boxing, Shooting and Yachting. Sub Maj (Hony Capt) Hawa Singh, Sub Maj (Hony Capt) Bishwanath Singh, Sub Maj(Hony Capt) Mehtab Singh not only won medals at National and International levels but were awarded Arjuna Awards for excellence in sports. Sub Bhanwar Lal Dhaka, VSM has won Gold Medal in National Pistol Shooting Championship and has participated in various International championships between 1993 to 2004.

Amongst the Officers Lt Col Gautam Dutta has been participating in International Yachting Competition since mid 80’s and has won Bronze medal in Asian Sailing Competition at Busan. The units are regularly organising and participating in a number of adventure activities like trekking/mountaineering in the mighty Himalayas, Cycle expeditions, White Water Rafting and Desert Safari to keep the adventure spirit alive.
