RVC C & C

Grant of financial assistance @ Rs 3,000/- each to 03 x different abled/spl children of RVC JCOs/OR is proposed. The details of children are :-

(a) Mr Ankur Gupta S/o No 7242820Y ALD (ADT) S K Gupta.
(b) Kumari Indu Pal D/o No 7240965L Dfr (NA Vet) Thorat Santosh Nonaba.

Grant of fin assistance @ Rs. 3,000/- per head was acceded by the house. However, it was suggested that the amount Rs 3,000/- should be enhanced.

It is apprised that, fin in one time grant of Rs. 3,000/- per head is being extended to special children from the interest accrued out of donation of Rs 1,00,000/- by Brig VP Manchanda. Hence, by increasing the one time grant amount, we will be depleting the corpus.

HQ Southern Comd

DACP for RVC Offrs:- With the enhancement of grade pay to med offrs as per 'Hon'ble Supreme court order the case should also be taken for RVC Offrs.

DGRVS info that RV Dte is working on this issue.

Establishment of post of SVO as in station:-
Due to outbreak of life threatening disease of epizootic importance post for SVO should be created in state as of SHO.

Raising of RVC TA Bn to take care of old worn out animals:-
Pers who serve the nation are provided on retirement plan. No such sya exist for our Army animals. However as per existing legal provisions, once they are rendered unfit for active service they inevitably have nothing to look forward to mention here that Delhi Police retire horses and dogs to an animal shelter of NGO and Chennai Police have provisioning for lifelong pension to retired police dogs. Hence, existing sys of disposing off our animals which is dictated by archaic rules needs to be changed. It is proposed that two RVC TABns may be raised for Northern and Eastern Command respectively to take care of old and worn out Army animals till the end of their lives. Retd RVC TA pers will also come in handy to help dply addl animals held in RTS & Depot in a war scenario.

DGRVS info that animal mgt is a 24 x 7 subject. TA Bn works on concept. We will have to think of Other concepts in this regard. DGRVS further info that, a case for "old and worn out animals' shelter" has been taken up with IHQ of MoD (Army) and the progress in this regard is being closely monitored by RV Dte.

EBS, Hisar

Diploma for Trained RVC personnel:-
RVC personnel undergo upgradation and classification courses as per their trade. Possibility may be explored to recognize and award Diploma from some university. This will help in post retirement settlement of our JCOs/OR

The point was appreciated by the members of CWC. Lt Col Vivek Mishra suggested that possibility of a tie up with CCS Vet Univ for recognition of various courses of RVC should be explored.
President RVC association directed that necessary liaison should be carried out by RVC Centre and College and a case be initiated for further clearance from MT Dte and ARTRAC.

Interactive website
An interactive Website for members of RVC association may be designed wherein members undertaken, suggestion by the members can be considered and also various job opportunities can the uploaded.

The point was accepted by the central working committee.
President RVC association directed that all possibilities should be explored for constituting of a bilingual website.

Compendium of Job avenues for retired members
A compendium of institutions, companies etc may be compiled which should be helpful for members to seek avenues for employment. Respective station chapters of the association providing information pertaining to their areas.

The members of central working committee expressed their satisfaction with regard to efforts being made by RVC Centre and College.
Secy RVC Association info that necessary assistance in following fields is being provided by RVC Centre and College:-

(i) AWPO Cell.
(ii) DSC
(iii) NGO
(iv) Pvt Stud Farm.
(v) Security Agencies

Directory of retired JCOs/OR
It is suggested to compile a directory of retired JCOs/OR as well, on similar lines as has been done in the case of RVC Officers.

The point was not accepted for the time being due to paucity of funds.

CMVL

Org of mtg
it is proposed to org RVC association mtg at six months interval. An appropriate send-off to the RVC Offrs who are superannuating may be planned in these mtg.

The Point was appreciated by the Patron but he further suggested that the format of org annual meeting at RVC Centre and College, Meerut is recommended to be continued for the time being. He further mentioned that the regional chapters of RVC Association should explore the possibility of holding an independent RVC association meeting at Comd HQ level.

Appointment of functionaries

Various functionaries of the RVC association may be elected and not nominated.

The point was appreciated by the members of CWC an further suggested to hold election of 01 x Ex JCOs/OR and 01 x Retd Offr in the CWC of RVC Association.

Issue of Info-brochure
An info brochure may be released twice a year highlighting the actives carried out/planned by the association. Alternately the same may be emailed to the member.

The point was not accepted for the time being due to paucity of funds.

RVC Association website
Feasibility of developing /launching a dedicated RVC Association website may be explored.

The point has been discussed and deliberated earlier.
