Headquarters MCTE

MCTE headquarters houses the Commandant`s Office & Secretariat, DyComdtOffice, General Staff Branch and the Department of Administration (DOA). The main Conference Hall and Iyappa Auditorium are also located within the College HQ building.

 

 

 

 

Faculty of Combat Communications(FCC)

Newly commissioned Signal officers receive their baptism in the Corps in this Faculty. It also conducts training at junior, middle and senior levels in command and signal staff functions, management, signal organization and tactics. It conducts prestigious courses such  as Company Commanders (Signals) Course, Regimental Commanders (Signals) Course and a Seminar for Senior Signal officers. The Faculty also conducts Electronic Warfare courses for all Arms and Signalsofficers and Joint Communication Procedure courses for the three Services.

 

 

 

Faculty of Communication Engineering(FCE)

This Faculty imparts training to Signal officers and few selected officers of other arms, CPOs and friendly foreign countries, who receive training in Telecommunication Engineering and IT, leading to their graduation in B. Tech from JNU. The Faculty also conducts the Post Graduate Signal Officers’ Advanced Technology Engineering Course. It also imparts equipment orientation course to technical graduate entry officers to acquaint them with the latest in the fields of Telecommunication Technology, Modern Communication Techniques and Communication Hardware. In addition, FCE undertakes training of selected officers, JCOs and NCOs of workshop categories in telecommunication techniques and Network Management.

 

 

All Arms Wing (AA Wing)

AA Wing trains officers, JCOs and NCOs of Artillery, Air Defence Artillery, Engineers, Infantry and Corps of Military Police in the planning and provisioning of Signal communications at unit level and also trains instructors in Regimental Signalling.

 

 

 

 

Cipher Wing.

Cipher Wing imparts training in cryptology to officers, JCOs and NCOs of the Corps of Signals in an automated environment. The NCOs course leads to award of Diploma in Cryptology.

 

 

 

 

Faculty of Computer Technology &Systems (FCT&S).

The Faculty imparts training in computer technology and system design at the basic, middle and advanced levels. The basic training is primarily conducted for the Corps of Signals and selected personnel of Paramilitary Forces. Officers from other Arms and Services come here for advance courses on computers. The thrust of training is to impart training on concepts in Computer Technology and Networks.

 

 

 

IT Wing.

The IT Wing has been est in 2004. It conducts high end and specialized courses in IT for officers of all Arms and Services. In its Phase I, courses on Network Centric Warfare, Geographical Information Systems and Senior Officers Information Technology are being conducted.

Production Wing.
 
Prod Wing prepares training material to support imparting of instructions and manages the Library and MCTE Printing Press. 'The Signalman', the journal of Corps of Signals is also published by the Wing. Other journals being published include Sanchar and ICTEC Update.
 

 

 

Cadets Training Wing. (CTW)

Gentlemen Cadets (GCs) after one year training at OT A Gaya undergo a four year degree engg course in this Wing, leading to award of B.Tech in Telecommunication and IT. The curriculum of the GCs which is similar to NDA includes military and outdoor training. The Wing also conducts hikes and camps for the GCs and provides various sports, adventure and club facilities where they can nurture their talents.
