The Motor Cycle Display Team was raised in 1952 at Faizabad in the name of `Shwet Ashw’. presently the team comprising of 02 JCOs and 31 OR. the ` Shwet Ashw ’, famed CMP Motor Cycle Display Team was specially selected to participate in the opening ceremonies of the Asiad in 1982. On the occasion of the diamond jubilee of the CMP on 15 Oct 1999 at Bangalore , the team created history by creating a new world record by carrying 151 men on 11 motor cycles and traversing a distance of 215 mtrs.
