While the Diamond Jubilee celebrations were not as elaborate as the Golden Jubilee, nevertheless the alumni both senior and junior gathered in good strength to reminiscence about their days under the stewardship of the Commandant, Lieutenant General JC Pant.

            Major General DK Palit reminiscing his days made some thought provoking comments, "Having been a Gentleman Cadet and later the Commandant, I know that there is often good evidence to support the arguments of both the old and new generations.
