VICTORY WAR MEMORIAL, CHENNAI.
It was formerly called as the Cupid’s Bow, originally constructed to commemorate the victory of Allied Forces in World War-I. It was rechristened as Victory War Memorial, erected in memory of those from the Madras Presidency who lost their lives in the World War-II. Later on, inscriptions of the Indo-Pak Wars of 1947-48, 1965 & 1971 along with those of 1962 Sino-Indian War were added.
