GORA MEMBERSHIP

The overall constitution of the Association is as under :-

Patron-in-Chief	Honorary Colonel of The Regiment (COAS)
Patron	Senior most retired General Officer. In the absence of the Patron the next senior most regimental elder will officiate
Regimental Elders	All retired General Officers of the Regiment
President	Present Colonel of The Regiment
Vice President	Commandant - The Guards Regimental Centre

Membership

All serving GUARDS officers shall be the members of the Association. Membership is obligatory for serving personnel.
The membership to retired officers is on voluntary basis an will be through the unit in which they served.
Executive Committee with approval of the PRESIDENT may allow any person not eligible for ordinary membership but willing and interested in the welfare of the Association, to become an honorary member.
Barring honorary members, all other officers will continue to remain life members of the Association.
All units will be members for the purpose of the News letters and other publications of the Association against their subscriptions.
Widows may apply for membership whereas children of members may apply for honorary membership.
