JAT REGT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

1.     The 'JAT Regt Scholarship Scheme' is being run in the Centre with a view to provide advance educational benefits to promising children of JCOs/OR of the Regt. Eligibility conditions are as follows :-

  1.     This Scholarship is applicable to children of JCOs/OR of JAT Regt pers only.

  2.     It is applicable to students pursuing any professional course (Degree/PG) from a recognized institute.

  3.     Scholarship is to be awarded for one academic year only during the entire academic course.

  4.     The Children being considered must have secured min 80% marks in Senior Secondary Exams/Class XII in the CBSE/ICSE/State Boards and min 60% marks in the pursuing professional course (Candidates must also have completed atleast one year/two semesters in that particular course before applying for the Scholarship).

2.     The scholarship awarded to the children of JCOs/OR during the yr are as follows :-

COL WALDREN MEMORIAL TRUST FUND

Col Waldren Memorial Trust Fund has been created on 06 Sep 97 with the corpus money received as donation from Mrs Mercia Waldern as per wishes of her husband, Late Col FE Waldern, OBE ex 6 JAT through the JAT British Officers Association UK. The fund is raised with the aim to help soldiers and their families in distress. All rks (Retd/serving) of JAT Regt and their NOKs are eligible for applying for the financial assistance from Col Waldern Memorial Trust Fund, when in distress. Financial assistance given out of Waldern Trust Fund during the yr 2016 is as follows :-

WELFARE FUND

Welfare fund is being maint in JRC for welfare of serving/retd and widows of JAT Regt. Minor financial support like shagun on the occasion of daughters marriage of widows/ Ex-servicemen is incurred out of this welfare fund. Financial assistance given out of welfare fund for the yr 2016 is as follows :-

JAT REGT SHAHEED PARIVAR FUND (JRSPF) SCHEME

JRSPF Scheme has been instituted as a charitable fund as a long term voluntary welfare measure for all ranks of the JAT Regt wef 01 Apr 1997. The aim of the scheme is to provide immediate remittance be paid to the NOK of the personnel who die while in service. Immediate Remittance be paid to the NOKs as per rates in vogue, immediately of the bereavement by JRSPF Cell JAT RC by a crossed demand draft in the joint bank account of the deceased. NOK of the following deceased soldiers have been paid financial assistance in yr 2016:-
