Name.   ASSOCIATION OF RAJPUT REGIMENT OFFICERS abbreviated and hereinafter called ‘AORRO’.

Registered Office. The Registered office of The Association shall be situated in Fatehgarh Cantonment, Uttar Pradesh in the premises of Rajput Regimental Centre, Fatehgarh Cantonment- 209601 (UP).

Aim. The aim of the Association is to promote espirit de corps amongst the members of ‘The Association’, to have closer link between serving and retired officers of the Rajput Regiment and to look after social welfare and rehabilitation of serving/retired personnel and their families.

Objectives. The Army Act provides for formation of a Regimental Association for recreational purposes only. However, other objectives of the ‘AORRO’ will be :-

• Forge close links between the serving and retired officers of the Regiment.
• Keep members posted of the activities and achievements of the Regiment through newsletters.
• Identify areas of mutual assistance between the members.
• Provide information which could help serving/retired officers in resettlement.
• Look after social welfare and rehabilitation of serving/retired personnel and their families.
• Identify and periodically update measures to project the image of the Regiment at Army and National levels.
• Organise a meeting once a year to review aforementioned objectives.

Restrictions.

• Association shall not associate in any way with any political party, trade union or labour union or any class of trade or political organization.
• Association shall not indulge/interfere in the matters/subjects which are dealt with by the Arms/Service Directorate/Army Headquarters. In other words, the association will not pass any resolution which is directly or indirectly tantamount to service commitments. Their realm should be in the sphere or welfare of ex-servicemen/widows.
• Association shall not release any information or status relating to service to the press or any other media without prior approval.

Income and Property.    All the income, earnings, movable and or immovable properties of the Association shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aim and objectives as set forth in the memorandum of association and no portion thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profit or in the manner whatsoever to present or past members of the association or to any person or persons claiming through any one or more of the present or past members. No member by virtue of his membership of the Association shall have any personal claim on any movable and/or immovable properties of the association and make any profit whatsoever.

First Members. Name, address and occupations of the first members of the Managing Committee to whom bye laws of the association and the management of its affairs is entrusted, will be forwarded after the approval is accorded. Its constitution will, however be as under :-
