(a) Visits of Presidents
Visit of Shri R Venkataraman
His Excellency Shri R Venkataraman, the then President of India presented the coveted Presidential Colours to the Academy on 18 Aug 1990 in recognition of its commendable service to the Army and the Nation, in the last 27 years. Maj Gen NK Oberoi was the Commandant at that time and CUO Bhanu Pratap Singh of SSC-50 received the Colours.
On a grey background, the OTA Colours display the OTA Crest surrounded by a single wreath of Ashoka leaves and lotus flowers and the Ashoka Emblem above the crest. The words meaning ‘Serve with Honour’ are embroidered in Sanskrit beneath the wreath. The Naam, Namak and Nishan of OTA i.e. the Colours are drawn from the Quarter Guard, their traditional resting place only during ceremonial occasions.

Visit of Smt Pratibha Devi Singh Patil
For the first time in the history of OTA, her Excellency Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, President of India and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces reviewed the Passing Out Parade of SSC-87 and SSC(Women)-01 on 21 Mar 2009, a historic first in the history of OTA as it was the first time that women cadets passed out after receiving training at par with their male counterparts in terms of time period and curriculum.

Visit Of Shri Pranab Mukherjee
His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the then President of India and the supreme commander of armed forces reviewed the passing out parade of SSC-102 & SSC (W)-16 courses wearing the coveted 'stars' on 10 sep 2016 followed by a guided tour of the OTA Museum and Art Gallery and appreciated the academy for the infrastructure coming up with the result oriented approach towards training young officers.

Visit of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India visited the academy and delivered motivational talk to officers and officers cadets of OTA on "My Flag is my life" on 14 April 2009.

(b) Foreign Heads of States
Maj Gen Batoo Tshering, DYG, DW, DT, DK, Chief Operations Officer, RBA
Maj Gen Batoo Tshering, DYG, DW, DT, DK, Chief Operations Officers, Royal Bhutan Army reviewed the Passing Out Parade of SSC-93 and SSC(W)-07 courses on 17 Mar 2012 at Parameshwaran Drill Square. He expressed his gratitude and thanked the Indian Army and the Government of India for inviting him to this special occasion in Golden Jubliee year of Officers Training Academy. He advised the cadets to have full confidence in their abilities to discharge their duties with dedication and honour.

Maj Gen Ahmend Shiyam, NDC, PSC
Maj Gen Ahmend Shiyam, NDC, PSC, Chief of Maldivian National Defence Force reviewed the Passing Out Parade of SSC-97, SSC(W)-11 courses on 15 Mar 2014. In his inspiring address, he advised the cadets to have a shared vision. He emphasized that inspiring others is what they need to strive for and to earn respect, set positive examples before they lead others.

Maj Gen Abdulla Shamaal
Maj Gen Abdulla Shamaal, Chief of Maldivian National Defence Forces reviewed the Passing Out Parade of SSC-113, SSC(W)-27 courses on 30 Jul 2022. He complemented the officer cadets and staff of the OTA on the excellent all round standards achieved. He exhorted the cadets to always adhere to the core military values of “Selfless service to the Nation and strive for excellence.”

(c) COAS/CONS
Gen SHFJ Manekshaw, MC, Chief of Army Staff
Gen SHFJ Manekshaw, MC, Chief of the Army Staff reviewed the Passing Out Parade of SSC(NT)-2 on 13 Mar 1971. He wished cadets “May the winds of fortune blow fair at them, where ever they go and have proper share of happiness and luck.” He advised “Our task is to fight, to win wars and to defeat the enemy. If you lose, the Nation is destroyed.”

Gen SF Rodrigues, PVSM, VSM, Chief of Army Staff
Gen SF Rodrigues, PVSM, VSM, Chief of the Army Staff reviewed the Passing Out Parade of SSC-54 on 22 Aug 1992. He expressed his heartiest congratulations to the passing out cadets and he complimented that he took great pleasure in seeing pride and confidence in the eyes of cadets. He ensured them that dedications and perseverance inevitably bring their own rewards.

Gen VP Malik, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Chief of the Army Staff
Gen VP Malik, PVSM, ADC, Chief of the Army Staff reviewed the Passing Out Parade of SSC-68, SSC(Tech)-11 and WSES(O)-14 courses at OTA Chennai on 04 Sep 1999. He complemented the cadets for their excellent bearing, turnouts and high standard of drill which were the sign of good discipline, team work and pride to the institution. He congratulated the lady cadets who have displayed matching standards and standing proudly shoulder to shoulder to the gentlemen cadets. He wished this passing out course for God Speed and Good Luck for their future.

Gen Deepak Kapoor, PVSM, AVSM, SM, ADC, Chief of the Army Staff
The Passing Out Parade of SSC-88 and SSC(W)-02 had another momentous occasion of presence of Gen Deepak Kapoor, PVSM, AVSM, SM, ADC, Chief of the Army Staff as reviewing officer on 19 Sep 2009. He congratulated the cadets the staff of OTA for the excellent parade. “It stands testimony to the fact that you fine young men and women are ready to embark on the challenging journey of military career”, he concluded.

Gen VK Singh, PVSM,AVSM,YSM,ADC, Chief of the Army Staff
The passing out parade of SSC-90 and SCC(W)-04 was reviewed by Gen VK Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC, Chief of the Army Staff, with the ceremonies of the young cadets being commissioned as officers into the most sacred the profession - the Indian Army. He greeted the faculty members who have risen to every challenge and shaped cadets as responsible army officers imbibed with commitment, dedication and sincerity to defend the nation and its citizens.

The passing out parade of SSC-95 & SSC(W)-09 in March 2013 was another momentous occasion in presence of Gen Bikram Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC, Chief of The Army Staff. He witnessed the parade and complimented the Commandant for his efforts.

The passing out parade of SSC-101 and SSC(W)-15 in Sep 2015 of this prestigious academy was reviewed by Gen Dalbir Singh, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief Of The Army Staff. He complimented the officer cadets for an excellent parade and making the event most memorable.

Admiral Karambir Singh, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Chief of Naval Staff
The passing out parade of SSC-109 & SSC (W) -23 in March 2020, was reviewed by Admiral Karambir Singh, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Chief of Naval Staff. He emphasized the cadets about the relationship between emerging technologies and soldiering.
