OBJECTIVES

In keeping with the vision of AWWA, Western Command AWWA has laid down the following objectives to meet the challenges of ever changing socio-culture-eco paradigm :-

(a)    Furtherance of conventional education, encourage vocational competence and give impetus to computer education for families and dependents.

(b)    Development of self-confidence and self-reliance amongst Army wives and children to match the socio-economic scenario.

(c)    Settle grievances of families, Veer Naris, Widows and Next of Kins without delay.

(d)    Resolve marital discord cases amicably and in a just manner to ensure marital harmony and enhance sustainability of affected families.

(e)    Enhance scope of Asha Schools to make our differently abled children self reliant through systematic mentoring and introducing vocational training.

(f)     Provide healthy and hygienic habitat to the families.

(g)    Introduce measures to identify children with special needs at young age to effect Early Intervention.

(h)    Provide guidance and assistance to families of martyrs and physical casualty in getting their dues and pension in a time bound manner.

KEY RESULT AREAS

(a)    Empower families through skilling ventures.

(b)    Outreach to Veer Naris, Widows and Next of Kins to redress grievances.

(c)    Focus on e-learning, including up skilling of teachers, and Inclusive Education.

(d)    Develop infrastructure and upgrade facilities in Asha School.

(e)    Ensure physical, mental and spiritual well being of families.
