1.     ASC Records (Supply) was established at Delhi in 1919. It moved to Ambala, Sitapur, Deghshai, Firozpur and Bangalore in 1952.

2.     ASC Recors (MT) was established at Chaklala (Punjab) in 1937. It moved to Lucknow, Aurangabad and Bangalore in 1986.

3.    On 01 Sep 2002, ASC Records (Supply) and ASC Records (MT) was amalgamated as ASC Records (South). The first Officer-in-Charge Records was Brig Virendra Marwaha and Colonel Records was Col S Victor. ASC Records (South) is maintaining documentation of approximately 65,000 JCOs & OR and 1.65 Lac Ex-Servicemen/Veer Naris/Widows and their dependents.

4.     On 05 Sep 2013, Col Ashwani Sharma assumed the appointment of Col Records and Commanding Officer of ASC Records (South).
