Computerized Numerical Carver with CAM Software

The BioSculptor® 4.5 Axis Milling Center can carve industry standard, environmentally safe polyurethane foam blocks of upto 40” height and 24” diameter to any shape with precise sharp angles, trimlines and various distal end styles.  All prosthetic or orthotic shapes can be carved in their natural anatomical shape; dispensing with the requirement of any further modification after carving.  Vacuum system eliminates airborne dust.  Carving area is fully enclosed ensuring operator safety.  Precision ball screws provide high accuracy and low backlash.
