Achievements in Sports
1. Weightlifting.
(a) A Cadet of Boys Sports Company, AOC Centre made history by winning Gold in the 55 kg category in International Weightlifting Championship 2022, Youth World Championship at Mexico on 12 Jun 2022.
(b) 16 th National Youth Weightlifting Championship at NIS Patiala. 11 Sports Cadets from Boys Sports Company of AOC Centre Secunderabad participated in the 16th National Youth Weighting lifting Championship at National Institute of Sports Patiala on 10 & 11 Aug 2021. The young cadets walked away with four Gold, three Silver & two Bronze medals. Bengia Tani was adjudged “Best Lifter” in the Youth Category.
(c) 73rd National Weightlifting Championship. Hav Shubham Verma of AOC secured the Silver Medal in the recently conducted 73rd National Weightlifting Championship held at Patiala. The NCO took part in 102 kg cat & lifted a weight of 322 kg (Snatch 140 kg, Clean & Jerk 182 kg).
2. Air Weapon Shooting. An Officer of the AOC has made the Corps proud by stupendous performance at International level and won Bronze Medal in Netherland in 10-meter Air Rifle Women in 2020.
3. Inter Services Athletics Championship 2021. Sep Praveen & Hav Vazeer secured Silver & Bronze Madals in discus Throw in Inter Services Athletics Championship 2021 held at Odisha conducted from 01 Sep to 04 Sep 2021.
