School of Artillery will be a value based premier training establishment focused towards maximizing the potential of the Arm.
Mission
To prepare professional and thinking Gunners, who as military leaders, effectively plan and execute synergized surveillance and firepower missions across the full spectrum of warfare.

Role
1. To train artillery personnel in the methodology of employment of artillery resources in the combined arms battlefield of the future.
2. To provide advisory training support to all artillery formation headquarters and units.
3. To play a proactive role in the evolution of new artillery doctrine and concepts.
4. To provide technical advice to Artillery Directorate for formulation of GSQR/ Trial Directives and for conduct of validation trials.
