9. An officer may be giving three months notice be permitted to resign his commission at the sole discretion of the Government of India. An officer who is permitted to resign his commission before the end of 5 years will not be entitled to any traveling concessions, terminal leave, terminal gratuity under paras 5, 8 and 10 respectively.
