14.     (i)     There will be a considerable number of specialist appointments for which officers will be eligible.

(ii)    Officers who possess the necessary qualifications, an who, in the opinion of the Director General, Armed Forces Medical Services; have sufficient experience , may be graded or classified specialists in accordance with relevant rules on the subject . They will be entitled to draw specialist pay at current rates when holding appointment within the authorized establishment of specialist.
