ARMY RESCUES TOURISTS STRANDED DUE TO LAND SLIDE IN NORTH SIKKIM

The sudden landslide blocked the road in North East Sikkim and 74 tourists including aged persons, women and children were stranded. The soldiers on ground responded quickly, evacuated all to safe place, provided medical care, food, accommodation, created a detour and transported all tourists to safety.

DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL BAGS TO STUDENTS

Red Horns Div facilitated distribution of 200 school bags made from recycled old Army uniforms to  students of Vikas Vidyalaya Hattigor, Udalguri on 18 Dec 22. The eco friendly bags were donated by NGO Sewaj Neesim Foundation as a noble & respectful gesture as part of their Vardika Samman initiative.

MAJ FIRE INCIDENT PREVENTED AT TENGA

Soldiers of Ball of Fire Div responded to the crisis in dousing a major fire breakout at Tenga Market, Bomdilla, Arunachal Pradesh in the wee hours of 14-15 Dec 22. It took Army and Civil administration almost seven hours to douse the blazing fire. Quick response by soldiers of Ball of Fire Div minimized damage to property without any casualty.
