It is an honour for me to take over the responsibilities of Regional President AWWA, Western Command and I extend warm wishes and greetings to all the families in our Command.

AWWA with its motto of Asha, Vishwas and Aastha is a vibrant and empowering community addressing a myriad of issues related to families of soldiers. In this changing socio-economic paradigm, we shall work collectively towards achieving the vision and goals of AWWA by implementing innovative and workable projects.

AWWA has undertaken a large number of initiatives for welfare of the families of serving soldiers and also for our veterans. The health, empowerment and welfare of our families remain our prime concern and we need to take forward these initiatives mindful of the social changes and increased aspiration levels. 

It will be our endeavor to promote well being of families with the emphasis on emotional and psychological health by providing support through counselling and therapy. We will also strive to generate awareness towards self-reliance through avenues which enable families to establish balance between their personal and professional growth.

I urge all the members of AWWA families of Western Command to dedicate their efforts towards the noble cause of AWWA with an aim to enhance the happiness quotient in our command.
