Army Skill Training Centre (PMKVY) scheme (Self Emp Tailor, Asst Beauty Therapist and Domestic Data Entry Operator courses) are running since 02 Jan 18 at Chandimandir. Similar courses are running at other stations in the Area of Responsibility as well.

Vocational Training Centres.

(a)     Various courses are running for the empowerment of our families in the institutes run by Army Wives Welfare Association in all the cantonments.

(b)    The courses which are running for women empowerment are Personality Development and English Speaking, Computer training, Nursery Teachers Training (NTT), Driving and Financial Management. For vocational training, courses such as Self Grooming, Beauty Care and Home Decoration, Bag Making, Embroidery, Cooking and Baking, Shawl and Durrie Making, Block Printing etc are being conducted. Counseling for marital discord is also being organised.
