Combat Readiness Exercise by Air Defence Troops
Blazing Arrows, Air Defence Brigade of Dot On Target Division of Sapta Shakti Command carried out Combat Readiness Exercise at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges from 01-10 Mar 2022. Honed technical skills & carried out operational validation.

Field Firing by Sand Viper Brigade
Sand Viper Brigade of Chetak Corps of Sapta Shakti Command conducted Field Firing at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Mar 2022. Achieving synergised integration of all weapon platforms to counter emerging futuristic trends.

Integrated Ex at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges
Integrated Exercise was conducted by the Fulcrum Brigade of Dot On Target Division of Sapta Shakti Command at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Jan 2022. Live firing & floatation training was also carried out during the Exercise. Relentless offensive manoeuvres on simulated enemy were carried out thereby achieving integration of all weapon platforms to counter emerging futuristic trends.

Akash Msl Firing at PFFR Successful firing of Akash missile was conducted by Air Defence Warriors of Sapta Shakti Command at PFFR. Simultaneous engagement of multiple aerial targets was carried out ensuring 100% hits, which demonstrated the potency of the weapon in realistic operational conditions. Lt Gen AS Bhinder, GOC-in-C, Sapta Shakti Command witnessed the trg event at PFFR.
Royal Oman Army Delegation visits FTN, MFFR for EPC
As part of Military to Military exchange programme between the Indian Army and the Royal Oman Army, the fourth edition of Exercise AL NAJAH is scheduled at Foreign Training Node, Mahajan Field Firing ranges in Rajasthan in the month of Aug 22.
Exercise planning conference was conducted from 22-26 May at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges. An eight member Omani delegation attended the same along with the delegation from Indian Army. Both the delegations coordinated various training and administrative aspects for the participating troops. The visiting Oman’s delegation also acquainted themselves with the training area where the Exercise would be conducted. Troops from both the armies will practice the modalities of conduct of joint operations by Indian Army and Royal Oman Army under United Nations Charter in an Urban/semi urban environment.
Ex Viper Shakti Conducted by Para (Special Forces) of Sapta Shakti Command
‘Ex Viper Shakti’ was conducted by Special Forces of Sapta Shakti Command on 14 & 15 May 22 near Suratgarh, Rajasthan. The Para troopers fine tuned their battle drills rehearsing Static line jumps, Combat free falls and precision delivery of heavy loads using AN-32 and C-130J aircrafts both during day& night. The jumps demonstrated the capability of special forces in exploiting third dimensions to achieve the military objectives. The troops practiced aerial insertion, rapid response and resuscitation techniques also.
The parachute units of Indian Army are amongst the oldest airborne units in the world and have been living the motto ‘Shatrujeet (The Conqueror)’. These forces specialise in various roles including Counter Terrorism, Hostage Rescue, Mountain Warfare, Jungle Warfare & Desert Warfare to name a few and have proved their mettle in diverse theatres of peace and war both in the country and overseas. They proudly don the ‘Maroon Beret’, setting them apart for their courage, valour, dedication and spirit.
Outreach to Veterans
Continuing support & gratitude for their service, the border area population of Abohar & Sriganganagar district were reached out by Outreach teams of Sudarshan Chakra Division to resolve grievances as well as to spread awareness on Vaccination on 18 Jan 2022.

Blood Donation Camp.
As part of 75th Independence Day Celebrations ‘Amrit Mahotsav’, Sand Viper Brigade of Chetak Corps organised Blood Donation camp in Suratgarh Military Station in Feb 2022. 178 volunteers participated in the camp & donated blood.

Medical Camp
On the occasion of World Health Day, Chetak Corps of Sapta Shakti Comd organised Medical Camp in border villages. The event witnessed overwhelmed response & was appreciated by the locals for continued humanitarian support in remote areas.

Surgical Eye Camp
Military Hospital Jaipur organised a surgical eye camp from 18 to 24 Apr 2022 under the aegis of South Western Command for the benefit of veterans and dependents of our Brave Hearts. 350 patients were screened for refractive errors, cataract, glaucoma and retinal diseases. 114 cataract surgeries were performed using phacoemulsification technique.“ Sarve Santu Niramaya”
