On mov of School of Artillery from Kakul (Pakistan) to Devlali in 1941, Administrative Block, HQ School of Artillery was established in a heritage building originally constructed for Station Hospital in 1885. Due to change in eco-socio environment and Peace Establishment (PE), necessity of a new modern administrative block was conceived. Accordingly foundation stone for new building of administrative block for HQ School of Artillery was laid by Lt Gen BS Pawar, AVSM on 16 Apr 2008. Finally construction work completed in Dec 2012. On 01 Jan 2013, the new Administrative Block has been inaugurated by the Lt Gen VK Narula, SM, Comdt School of Artillery. Presently Lt Gen N S Sarna, AVSM, SM< VSM, Comdt School of Artillery & Col Comdt Regt of Arty and his team is providing all necessary directions on training and administrative aspects from here.
