An officer will be on probation for 2 years from the date he receives his commission. If during the probationary period, an officer is reported as unsuitable to retain his commission, it will be terminated at any time during or after the probation period. SSC/AMC(Non Tech) officers granted PC will also be on probation, if they had not completed their probation period during the terms of their SSC.
