1. Candidates will be commissioned in rank of Lt as provided in para 11 below.
2. Serving SSC Officers will relinquish their existing commissions from the date of grant of Permanent Commission, as published in the Gazette of India. The service of such officer will be antedates under the provision stipulated in the succeeding paragraphs.
