Surya Canteen
Surya Canteen was created in 1971 under the guidance of Lt Gen P S Bhagat PVSM, VC. It has undergone numerous additions and renovations over the years. A niche facility by way of Canteen Extension Counter at Surya Officers’ Institute was established on 07 July 2022.
At present the complex offers the following facilities:-
(i) A remodelled, spacious, clutter free and well stocked grocery hall.
(ii) Dedicated liquor enclosure.
(iii) New renovated counters for luggage, electronic items, utensils, clothing/ garments and shoes.
(iv) A comfortable waiting hall.
(v) Hard standing for cars/ scooters/ bikes/ cycle parking.
(vi) An aesthetically pleasing park with fountain and water sprinkler system.
(vii) Coffee and Bakery Shop.
