Surya Library
The Surya Library was established when Central Command was raised on 01 May 1963. It has evolved today as ‘Knowledge Resource Centre’. The Resource Centre has evolved with the times and is today stocked with over 27,000 books on varied subjects. It also subscribes to 120 magazines, periodicals and 18 newspapers. It also possesses 503 rare books and over 5000 reference books.
kNimbus, an Internet based online Resource Centre was introduced in 2022.It provides:-
(i) Unlimited access to e-newspapers, e-journals and e-bookstand
(ii) A browser based facility enhancing access anytime, anywhere and on multiple devices (Mobile, Tab, PC).
(iii) A secure, credential based access system.
(iv) 100 concurrent readers for premium e-newspapers and e-magazines.
