Surya Khel Parisar
Surya Khel Parisar is a multidimensional, modern state of the art sports institute established within the precincts of Lucknow Cantonment. The institute was initially established as Surya Sports Complex in Jun 2013 and upgraded to Surya Khel Parisar in Nov 2020. To further enhance the sports facilities, an additional Khel Parisar has been created in 2022.
The Parisar encompasses a host of training & sports facilities. It also has a helipad, employed for move & casualty evacuation of personnel for treatment at Command Hospital. Obstacle Course and Rock Craft have also been incorporated in the Parisar.
A total of six indoor sports discipline & nine outdoor games amenities have been provided in the Parisar. A 1.7 km walking cum jogging track runs along the periphery of the Khel Parisar.
